UBS To Pay $1.4 Billion in Subprime Loan Settlement

Swiss banking giant UBS agreed Monday to pay roughly $1.4 billion to settle a lawsuit regarding its handling of residential mortgage-backed securities (MBS) in the years leading up to the 2008 financial crisis.
